About Us

Young Kilmarnock is first and foremost, the Junior Supporters’ Club of Kilmarnock Football Club......................

................and we support our team both home and away.

We support Killie financially through player sponsorship............

................and are very proud of the fact that we have cemented our committment to our Club by investing to become shareholders also.

YOUNG KILMARNOCK is a non-profit making organisation open to all 4-16 year-olds, which generates funds through sponsorship and fundraising activities, with all proceeds being utilised for the benefit of its 450+ members.

Our fun-filled SATURDAY CLUB takes place every weekend at Power League, which is situated behind Asda; Queens Drive in Kilmarnock. There, our football sessions, delivered by qualified coaches (including goalkeeping coaches) are fun based and designed to give young players the opportunity to learn new skills and improve their ability at their own pace with their own age group. On occasion, we organise special theme days to coincide with other celebrations throughout the country or worldwide like our World Cup day or Golden Jubilee party day….and the Easter Bunny makes an appearance every year too!

We aim is to promote, increase and develop football participation in our local area and encourage children to take part in physical activity through football, to raise awareness of leading a healthy lifestyle, to develop friendships and to put smiles on faces in the process.

We organise FULLY SUPERVISED COACH TRIPS to most Kilmarnock FC away games to support our team. Price of trips varies depending on coach hire and match day ticket costs and is subsidised wherever possible thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and many, many friends.

Members are well looked after on their travels, receiving free juice and crisps on every trip. The occasional ‘free’ bus is put on when funds allow and our team, SUPER KILLIE,  look for us when doing their pre match warm up.

Most years, the Committee also try to arrange a coach trip to an English Premiership stadium to take in a match, including where possible, a visit to the club museum.

Our CHRISTMAS PARTIES are always eagerly anticipated events and are free of charge. Older members are treated to the very latest Christmas film release at the Odeon Cinema in Kilmarnock.....

.........while our under 5's have a wild time playing party games in the company of a children’s entertainer who puts on a magic show too,

There are usually special visitors, including Santa Claus too of course, so everyone gets a Christmas present at the end of the day.

Parents of our members and our very many friends aren't forgotten either as we like to organise the odd 'let yir hair doon' session once in a while, like at our now legendary annual fundraising doo......

..............or our very unique Sub Aqua Golfing Days!

We are an organisation who like to think of others less fortunate than ourselves. We have sent training kit to Uganda...

..................and rallied the troops to support many other worthwhile causes.

We are also extremely proud that our wee organisation demonstrated their true community value when we were recognised in the Westsound Radio Cream of Ayrshire Awards, achieving the accolade of COMMUNITY ASSET OF THE YEAR.

Reason for the continued success?

We all love the Killie, love to have fun and love seeing the kids enjoy themselves because they are the supporters of the future who will help sustain our club, the oldest profession football club in Scotland...............
