CHRISTMAS PARTIES 2015

The YK Christmas parties took place on SUNDAY 6th DECEMBER.

Members aged 6 years and over booked their place at the ODEON CINEMA; QUEENS DRIVE, KILMARNOCK for a 10am screening of The Good Dinosaur, which saw a few tears shed by some of the adults present.

Rory McKenzie, Kilmarnock FC, was on hand at the end of the film to help Santa hand out some gifts to those who attended.

Members aged 5 years and under went to the FENWICK HOTEL for a 2pm start for the usual fantastic fun, entertaintainment, magic tricks and party games which were thoroughly enjoyed by all our youngsters..

Santa, with the help of his many elves and fairies were also there to make sure that everyone got a wee prezzie!

YK GOING DUTCH FOR EASTER 2016

Our very special friends, Peter Nederlof and Brenda Toonen, have invited YK once again to return to Amsterdam for a visit to the Ajax ArenA and to take in an Ajax match during the Easter holidays next year.

Everything is now in place and the YK contingent will leave from Glasgow on the 1st April, take in the Ajax home game against Zwolle on 3rd April before returning home the next day.

This will be our 3rd trip, the first having been in 2003 and our most recent, ten years later in 2013.

Those who have been lucky enough to attend any of these expeditions will testify to a fantastically memorable experience……..although what happens on the Pancake Boat, stays on the Pancake Boat!

We can't wait to hear all the stories and see the photographs when they all return.
